چکیده
The effect of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana (BB-12) on biological characteristics Tamarixia radiata parasitizing Diaphorina citri was studied under laboratory conditions. Twenty 3rd–5th instar nymphs were exposed to a single already-mated female parasitoid (1 day old) and removed after 24 h. Subsequently, sprayed at 1, 48 h post-exposure with 1 × 108 conidial mL−1 suspension. percentage parasitism recorded 22%, 35% 41% h, respectively. emergence rate varied between 28%, 51% 49% In subsequent experiment, D. suspension then T. post-spraying allow for occur. 18%, 27% 28% respectively, significantly lower than in control (48%). 24%, 44% 45% both experiments, no significant difference observed pre-adult duration (days) sex ratio F1 generation. Meanwhile, differences longevity generation females males treatment consisting spraying fungal control. Overall, findings current study revealed negative interaction B. controlling nymphs. This outcome is believed be result antagonistic effects developmental process stages parasitoid. However, our results also show that properly timed application (allowing occur over an extended period time before fungus), could potentially used combination successful citri. should carried out order minimize interactions these two agents.

Life table of Tamarixia radiata (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) on Diaphorina citri (Hemiptera: Psyllidae) at different temperatures.
Tamarixia radiata (Waterston, 1922) is the main parasitoid of Diaphorina citri (Kuwayama, 1907), and has been used in classical biological control programs in several countries. The current study investigated the biology and determined the fertility life table of T. radiata in different temperatures, to obtain information to support the establishment of a biological control program for D. citri...

Tamarixia radiata (Waterston) (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) is an effective idiobiont ectoparasitoid of the psyllid Diaphorina citri Kuwayama (Hemiptera: Psyllidae), vector of the huanglongbing (citrus greening disease) pathogen. We examined the external and functional morphology of the antennal sensilla of adultmale and femaleT. radiatabyusing scanning and transmission electron microscopy, respect...

The biology and ecology of Psyllaphycus diaphorinae Hayat, a potential natural enemy of the Asian citrus psyllid, Diaphorina citri Kuwayama (Hemiptera: Liviidae), is poorly understood. In April 2013, six P. diaphorinae females collected from Punjab, Pakistan emerged from parasitized Asian citrus psyllid nymphs in quarantine at the University of California, Riverside and were used to initiate co...

The ability of an exotic citrus pest, Diaphorina citri Kuwayama, and its two parasitoids, Tamarixia radiata (Waterston) and Diaphorencyrtus aligarhensis (Shafee, Alam & Agarwal), to survive under different relative humidities (7%, 33%, 53%, 75% and 97%) at 25 and 30 ° C was compared. The data obtained may help to predict potential climatic limitations to their establishment in Florida and indic...
